|Comments=BIOS: USA. Note that playing using 1.4 gave _much_ worse performance. The game runs reasonably, considering this is not a gaming rig, but the videos sometimes slow down to 60% (or even lower). Skipdraw 1 and 2 worked pretty well. See [[Talk:Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence#Additional information|my config info]].

|Workaround=Enable HW hacks and go to advanced settings and hacks.OpenGL: Set the HalfPixel offset option to Normal (vertex) Directx11: Halfpixel to Special. In the Config menu, select Video(GS) and go to Window settings. set Zoom to 100.50, thereby removing the artifacts. And finally use skipdraw 7-7 to mitigate rest of artifacts.

|Description= When the game attempts to blur an individual character or object it instead blurs the whole screen.
|Workaround=Tick "Enable HW hacks" go to "Advanced settings and hacks" and tick "Disable Safe Features" & "Disable Depth Emulation."  This has the downside of removing that specific effect, but the cutscenes won't be blurry. If you'd prefer having that effect intact you'll have to make do with the Software renderer for now.
