|Comments=Game froze after the cutscene before the battle with The Boss, when the battle was supposed to load. Resetting and skipping the cutscene fixed this, so this was probably just a one-off. When picking up items, the text describing the item was often cut off and some letters were flickering. There is a faint grid pattern when certain lighting effects are on screen (most noticeable in the battle with The Sorrow). As with MGS2, lag was limited to cutscenes without speedhacks, usually when the game was targeting 60fps, and was generally less severe and less common than in MGS2 (the only cutscene with noticeable lag was before the battle with The End). Setting EE Cycle Skip to Mild Underclock eliminated almost all the lag, though there was still some in the ending. However, this caused very poor performance in the escort mission with Eva (no lag, but framerate was around 15fps), so I disabled speedhacks for that. Fully playable.
