Kingdom Hearts: Difference between revisions

m
Played this game from start to finish with no crash. Whoever wrote up the issue was probably using cheats or something else that caused the game to break, or it was played on an older revision of PCSX2.
m (Fixed some grammar. Useless fact of the day: the genie is only voiced by Robin Williams in Aladdin. Everywhere else starting with the TV series, the genie is voiced by Dan Castellaneta. Look it up.)

|Workaround=Use GSdx DirectX 9 in native or DirectX 9 software mode, uses the recommended settings bar to safest possible settings, and turn of all hacks that may compromise compatibility (the widescreen hack appears to work fine) until you are out of area (Defeating a boss or world). If that does not fix or help alleviate crashing, set EE and VU to full and extra (respectively). <br>

|Description=The beginning logos can change scale or have thin lines during up-scaling signifying the texture is either overlapping or is "tiling." This is a possible limitation of the emulator or possible rounding in coding that would have otherwise gotten by in native resolution. Could also split the pause menu on larger up-scaling.

|Workaround=Using the built-in resolutions (2x native, 3x native, etc.) (as this game does not like being widescreen) and enabling TC Offset Hacks can both make certain textures clearer and move them into a more (not 100 percent accurate) position. Using 2x native, both TC offsets will need to be set to 100, adding 100 to both multiplications. Anybody using a custom resolution will either need to do the math or just try setting both TC Offsets to numbers in between 0 and 1000. Both should scale with from the native Resolution.
