Game description: For the first time ever in a racing game, players will be able to fuse two cars together on the fly to form a super vehicle with the all-new "clashing" technology. In Crash Tag Team Racing, players can combine their car with an opponent's mid-race to make a super-car equipped with a powerful turret gun. When clashed, players can either get behind the wheel and drive or fire an onboard weapon. Each character has his or her own uniquely deadly 360˚ rotating turret. Players can continue the action out of the car where they can explore the entire world on foot and collect upgrades for their cars and unlock bonus tracks.
Crash Tag Team Racing is the thirteenth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series, as well as the third racing game, following Crash Nitro Kart, which was an indirect sequel to Crash Team Racing. It is also the third Crash Bandicoot title in the racing genre, the first and second titles being Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart, respectively. The game's story centers on the exploits of the main protagonist, Crash Bandicoot, who must win the ownership of a dilapidated theme park by finding its missing Power Gems before his nemesis, Doctor Neo Cortex, can.

Will crash every 5 minutes, regardless of whether speedhacks are used or not. Memory usage goes up at 20 MB per second, reaching roughly 1.5 GB, before GSDx prints "out-of-memory, texturing temporarily disabled" to the log a few dozen times, then PCSX2 crashes a few seconds later. If in a minigame, memory usage does not increase as drastically. Problem occurs in DirectX and OpenGL, in both software and hardware rendering mode. |
