Game description: Jak 3 combines elements from a variety of genres, including driving, adventure, action, puzzle, strategy, and exploration. The story begins with Jak's banishment to the Wasteland, a desert environment five times the size of Haven City, with multiple areas, including mines and a volcano. Given the expansiveness and variance in terrain, vehicles play a large role in each mission. The game unveils more vehicles, guns, and dark powers and introduces light powers. As Jak and Daxter fight for their lives, both new and familiar characters will slowly be revealed.
Play as Jak in his 3rd game, Jak 3 takes place a short year after the events of Jak II, continuing the series in this exciting sequel!

BIOS: USA v01.60 (07/02/2002), FPS: Average. 35 FPS when playing level, about 40-45 for cutscenes. Mainly graphical corruption. Character eyes are missing except Daxter's left eye (to me this made it look like a M-rated game...).

Runs above full speed. For some odd reason, the language and text are Japanese, even though this is a US copy of the game. Various graphic glitches, but still playable.

Game constantly speeds up and slows down without speedhacks enabled. Once enabled, game runs perfectly fine except for a few small areas. Music is tied to FPS, so will constantly stutter along with the framerate. Setting VU Cycle Stealing to 2 runs the game okay except it slows to about 2 fps in certain sections. Level 3 causes choppy gameplay but seems to resolve most if not all major slowdown. Finished the game without any major instabilities, though mostly minor but some major graphical issues are still present in hardware mode. Use OpenGL as DirectX causes long shadows.

Seems to have a bit of stuttering, but very playable and runs well. Default settings are very sluggish. Will load with Japanese if you do FAST BOOT. Full Boot should be English or your native language setting.
