Where'd this info come from? It was released in Europe too. Cover update + Description change. The game contains elements of Tony Hawk, but it's a cheapened version of it really. Just left it out entirely.

|gameinfo          = A clone of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series which was only released in the US and received negative reviews because of its simplistic graphics, unresponsive controls, and being a game just to simply to cash on the Simpsons series.

|gameinfo          = In The Simpsons Skateboarding, Bart's not the only one on the skateboarding scene. The Annual Skate Tour has come to Springfield, and the entire town has gone skate-crazy for halfpipes, ramps, and rails. In five game modes, you can choose from eight unlockable characters--each with 40 unique moves--to skate on or around various Springfield landmarks, characters, and objects. All the grinding, tricks, and competitive action from your favorite skating games are now in the wacky world of The Simpsons.
