::The one on the right seems to be shrunk down further than the one on the left by about 1 or 2 pixels. That might've caused the extra blurriness on the font. Normally there's no way it should look better just resizing it without fixing the text. :Most fonts are a bunch of vectors, so it is up to software how to rasterize it. Resizing bigger rasterized image will often result in better looking smaller image. That's the principle of FSAA.
