			:I believe they are Sony online store serials (never had the PS3 so I don't know the name) for encrypted PS2 ISOs you can purchase and download on your PS3. They have the same utility as, for instance, Konami serials like VW021-J1. They can be used as search phrases on the internet among other possible uses.
