|gameinfo          = i don’t know how to edit this properly but setting the frame rate to 60.00 in the vm Ini fixes the game being all choppy and weird, you can test this yourself in the training area, go to the left of the scientist guy and look at the door, it’ll be fucked but change the ini and set it to read only and oh wow it’s fine now, so like test it and then add it here in the workarounds for the issue because for some reason I can’t seem to be able to do it myself ok thanks bye. esa Federal Research Facility, a decommissioned missile base, a top-secret experiment goes terribly wrong.  As aliens come through the walls and a military death squad shoots everything in sight, young research associate Gordon Freeman must scramble to stay alive.  Find your way through the monster-ridden areas of Black Mesa using your wits,  limited security clearance, and a variety of weapons, ranging from a crowbar and pistols to a rocket launcher and grenades.  With split-screen deathmatch and its exclusive "Decay" single-player and multiplayer cooperative modes, Half-Life is an action experience like no other.<br />

|Comments=Played through about 1/4 of the campaign with no issues. There are quite a few native framerate drops throughout the game (the type that would also occur on a real PS2). Increasing EE Cyclerate right up to 300% helps counteract this somewhat. This will increase performance requirements but should be easily doable on a modern midrange CPU, as the game is very easy to emulate. As far as emulation performance goes, it ran full speed the whole time at 8x native res.

|Description=Game camera stutters in certain areas despite the game running at full speed
|Description=The game has performance issues on native PS2 hardware. PCSX2 matches PS2 vsync frequency, and as such the game will "feel slow" while actually running at the same speed as it would on PS2 hardware.
|Workaround=Change the frame rate to 60.00
|Workaround=No known solution. If your PC has a strong enough CPU, raising the "EE Cyclerate" may help.
