Known Issues
Shader Issues in Multiplayer
- Status: Active
- Type: Major
- Description: In multiplayer, bars of white obscure much of both split screens.
- Workaround: Enable shade boost in GSdx settings, change 'Brightness' to anything lower than 50 (49 works), enable Texture Filtering. Not sure whether both are necessary but this works.
Black Sky / Car window breaking effect is missing
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: Sky is rendered black and car windows don't appear broken after a crash
- Workaround: Boot the game using software mode of GSdx, get in a race, exit back to menu then switch back to hardware renderer by pressing F9. Until you restart PCSX2 again, the sky will be blue, albeit a bit bugged :)
Missing blur effects
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Affected Game Versions: All
- Description: Blur effects when moving fast are missing
- Workaround: Use software mode of GSdx
Purple windows/textures
- Status: Active
- Type: Major
- Affected Game Versions: All
- Description: Bugged textures when booting the game via System->Boot CDVD (full) (most probably due to the game trying to run at 16:9 mode)
- Workaround: Use System->Boot CDVD (fast), although this way you cannot get the game to work in wide screen mode
