Game description: An accursed idol responsible for the destruction of an ancient race has resurfaced to wreak havoc once again among the kingdoms of man. You must return the idol to the Ancient City to break its curse, but monsters of unspeakable horror haunt the ruins. There is a palpable fear in the air of the Ancient City - even the monsters themselves fear the evil that has returned. Treasures beyond imagination await the warrior bold enough to attempt the journey, strong enough to face the minions of death, and wise enough to follow the path that leads to the essence of light! Use your sword arm well to rid the land of a potent curse! Be aware that should the sword fail, you have the magical arts to serve you in your quest.

Known Issues
Certain areas won't load
- Type: Not an issue
- Description: Mid game you will find that some areas do not load (black rectangle where a doorway should be).
- Workaround: This is actually a bug in the game, not PCSX2. The old workaround was to set EE/FPU Rounding mode to "Negative" before going near the staircase where the bug occurs. In v1.5.0-dev-3007 and newer builds, PCSX2 now has auto-gamefixes (12) to fix this bug for all three versions of the game.
Boot screen stays black, game won't load
- Type: Not an issue
- Description: Boot screen stays black, game won't load
- Workaround: Turning off the MTVU Hack for multi core systems seems to fix this.
Artifacts in liquids and the sky
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: Running it on resolutions higher than the native causes weird artifacts in liquids and the sky
- Workaround: Don't use upscaling, you can also set "Texture Filtering" to Bilinear(Forced). It will transform the artifacts into white lines (two gigantic lines in the sky and smaller ones in liquids).
Certain Lava Pools Do Not Render in Hardware Renderer
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: Particular pools of lava (only observed in those of the first map of the game, but potentially others as well) do not render when using a Hardware renderer.
- Workaround: Go to Config > Video (GS) >Plugin Settings > Enable HW Hacks > Advanced Settings and Hacks > Enable Preload Frame Data.
If you use upscaling white lines will appear on Lava or Use a Software renderer.

- Description: At higher resolutions it will become apparent the screen isn't as sharp as it should be and several vertical lines exist.
- Workaround: Use a skipdraw range of 1 to 1 to remove the filter causing this.
Black squares on walls
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: On some walls in the game there are black squares that are flickering when the player is moving.
- Workaround: Use Software mode
