Game description: X-Men enter the realm of role-playing games with an intense story, superhero action, and multiplayer modes. The story in X-Men Legends begins when the X-Men learn that Magneto has devised a plan to give mutants the power to reign supreme over humans. To save the human race from imprisonment, you compose a four-person team from a roster of X-Men characters, including Storm, Gambit, and Wolverine. Complete each mission to strengthen your team, and unlock more characters, costumes, and treasures.
X-Men Legends is not set in any particular Marvel Comics universe. It follows Alison Crestmere, a young mutant who has the ability to summon and control volcanic activity. As Alison is taught to control her powers at the X-Mansion, the X-Men are sent on several missions. Eventually the X-Men learn of Magneto's plan to cover the Earth in darkness from his base on Asteroid M.

X-Men Legends is the predecessor to X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse

Game runs well at 60 FPS and 5x native resolution. Thin black lines at the opening cut-scene and menu, but can be fixed by turning off texture filtering. Once in game though, you can turn Texture Filtering back on with no graphical glitches. There are some rare instances of audio stuttering. BIOS v2.00 was used. Zrooney
