|gameinfo          = The next entry in NanaOn-Sha's music series. First there was Vib Ribbon, then there came Mojib Ribbon, and now, prepare for: Vib Ripple. Although Mojib Ribbon came first, this new game is actually considered the sequel to Vib Ribbon. Whereas the original game had its content generated by reading your CDs, this game does the same with uploading digital pictures from a camera via USB. The game changes your picture into a variety of trampolines. Pushing down atop one of the trampolines makes your character jump. By jumping more and more, you can go higher and higher. Your goal is to collect "Peta Characters" locked in the picture, which come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including leaves, frogs, crabs, ducks and turnips.
|gameinfo          = The sequel to NanaOn-Sha's PlayStation 1 rhythm game, Vib Ribbon. Despite being a sequel to a rhythm game, Vib Ripple itself is not a rhythm game, instead being a hidden object game wherein each stage is a "trampoline" consisting of an image, with objects — called "peta characters" — hidden within each image that the player must reveal by jumping on them. Taking from Vib Ribbon's ability to generate new levels using music the player provides on CD, Vib Ripple instead allows the player to create new levels by taking photos using the EyeToy or another USB camera, though an already wide variety of images are included in the game itself.

Game description: The sequel to NanaOn-Sha's PlayStation 1 rhythm game, Vib Ribbon.

1.6.0 [May 6 2020] GSDx32-SSE4 SPU2-X 2.0.0 Game starts to slow down when around 10 "Peta Characters" are collected and floating above the level, though this could be because my CPU is a little under powered. Other than that, everything else seems to work fine. ILC

NTSC-J Fedora 38 x86_64
  • AMD Ryzen 7 2700

1.7.4915 Vulkan (not sure where to get the plugin info you used to be able to get) Cubeb Works just fine, with the worst issue being slowdowns during saving (which I believe I've had happen with other games as well). I can't get the webcam function working, using OBS virtual camera and any combination of settings within PCSX2 (USB port 1 or 2, EyeToy or Capture Eye, etc) ngoomie
