Just need to ask on Armour core 3 what are your fps in combat and what are you using to set it up because I only barely manage to get it 17 fps. and that was when I was pulling out all the stops, also is what lead to a crash after My bullet hit glass and crashed the whole thing. | --[[User:DDay|DDay]] 22:58, 15 January 2012 (UTC)Just need to ask on Armour core 3 what are your fps in combat and what are you using to set it up because I only barely manage to get it 17 fps. and that was when I was pulling out all the stops, also is what lead to a crash after My bullet hit glass and crashed the whole thing.

I mean I got a smooth 60 FPS up to combat.
And what I mean what are you using I mean like direct3d 9 or 11 hard, soft, and Null Allow 8 bit and ect.
Edit: I think I may have a fix but it requires removing the frame limit and jacking up the frame rate. But there has to be a better way. it's bit crud.

I'm getting about 40-45fps in combat.
Using Directx9 GSDX(sse3 version) hardware mode with 8bit textures off.
Ive noticed that if you use VU cycle stealing it will slow it down instead of speed it up.
Also I set my EE Cyclerate to 2 anything higher seems to slow it down for me.
I'm using much lower/outdated hardware than you:
CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.6Ghz (I can OC to 3.4ish but haven't)
GPU: Evga 8800GT Superclocked Edition
Try enabling MTVU and in GSDX settings play with the rendering threads.
With the disabled framerate you might want to tweak the base framerate adjust, as in lower the percentage. |
