Game description: Twisted Metal: Head On - Extra Twisted Edition provides all the fast-paced vehicular combat and destruction that fans of the franchise have come to know and love. The latest installment in the multi-million selling franchise provides a variety of gameplay options, as gamers can go head-to-head or compete against the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deliver the devastation as they strap themselves into one of 14 lethal machines on wheels equipped with machine guns, turbo boosts and special attacks unique to each vehicle.
Head-On is a direct sequel to Twisted Metal 2, ignoring the events of Twisted Metal III and Twisted Metal 4. Akin to other games in the series, Head-On revolves around the same theme of a man named Calypso holding a vehicular combat tournament called "Twisted Metal" with the promise of granting the winner whatever they ask for.

The game runs great using Software mode +2 rendering threads, with default preset (2-safe). Hardware mode, despite being slower ~20-25 FPS, has bugs rendering lighting and shadows. joder666

I get good speed with both Hardware (~45-50fps native res) and Software (~58-60fps) rendering. On Hardware is possible to use 2x scaling without graphics problems or speed tanking too much (~35-45-fps with 2x scaling), however i do get slow downs even if using native when a lot of shooting happens. Use Software mode if you want good speed with no slow downs. Tested with preset 2, +3 rendering thread for Software mode and Async Mix for SPU-X. Joder666
