This template is used as the game card page header and right panel. It includes the following variables:

  • Common header variables (any variable can be omitted):
    • image: Denotes an image for the game box-art (should be a simple picture name like final fantasy 12.jpg)
    • caption: Shows a small caption below the picture (example: North American box art for Final Fantasy XII)
    • developer: Game developer or developers (use the following notation [[Developer 1 Page|Developer 1 Division Name]],[[Developer 2 Page|Developer 2 Division Name]].... Example: [[Electronic Arts|EA Canada]] will be shown as EA Canada but linked to Electronic Arts page)
    • publisher: Game publisher or publishers (use the following notation [[Publisher 1|Publisher 1 Division Name]], [[Publisher 2|Publisher 2 Division Name]].... Example: [[Namco|Namco Bandai Games]] will be shown as Namco Bandai Games but linked to Namco page)
    • genre: Fill by games genres divided by commas. The recommended genres names are Action, Adventure, Arcade, Platformer, Compilation, Fighting, Minigames, MMO, FPS, Sports, Puzzle, Music, Racing, RPG, RTS, Horror, Casual, Remake, Turn-based strategy, Shoot 'em up
    • gameinfo: This game brief (or not so brief) description
    • wikipedia: Link to wikipedia page (use the following notation: [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_XII Link])
    • reviewlinks: Links to game reviews on various review sites. Howto: Place the link to the review page here, and then add which site it came from. (IGN, Gamespot, Metacritic, etc).
    • reviewscore: Info on game reviews scores or awards
  • Game special properties (any of these properties can be omitted, any omitted property will not be shown in the infobox):
    • widescreen: Can be 0, 1 or 2 (no widescreen support, widescreen patch is available, native widescreen support)
    • widescreenpatch: A widescreen patch link can be provided here (preferably in a form [URL patch]<br />[URL patch 2])
    • progressive: Can be 0 or 1 (progressive scan is not available for NTSC-U/J games or progressive scan is supported for NTSC-U/J games)
    • gpu-intensive: Can only be 1 (Denotes whether a game requires a powerful GPU or a weaker GPU will suffice)
    • cpu-intensive: Can only be 1 (Denotes whether a game requires a powerful CPU or a weaker CPU will suffice)
    • scales-properly: Can only be 1 (Set this variable to 1 if a game looks beautiful and does not have any significant visual artifacts when upscaled (i.e. in HD mode))
    • sw-rendering-only: Can be 0 or 1 (Set this variable to 1 if a game does not support hardware rendering or has significant visual artifacts in HW mode)
    • perfectly-emulated: Can only be 1 (Set this variable to 1 if a game is emulated perfectly without any visual artifact, control related bugs, FPS dipping and such)
  • Right (region) panel variables (the panel is divided into three (up to four) or less region boxes, each box has its own set of similar variables differ only by their names):
    • NTSCU, PAL, NTSCJ, PAL-M: 0 or 1. Set to 0 (zero) to disallow showing of respective regionbox (see example below)
    • serialsNTSCU, serialsPAL, serialsNTSCJ, serialsPAL-M: game serials divided by commas in SXXX-????? notation (ex. SLUS-20963) (see example below)
    • CRCsNTSCU,CRCsPAL, CRCsNTSCJ, CRCsPAL-M: game CRCs for the different regions (see example below)
    • releasedateNTSCU, releasedatePAL, releasedateNTSCJ, releasedatePAL-M: game release date for the selected region (see example below)
    • statusNTSCU, statusPAL, statusNTSCJ, statusPAL-M: the best encountered test status for this game for Windows platform. Can be 0,1 or 2 (which is broken, in-game or playable accordingly). Note that the game may have many test cases, some test may have found that it is broken under certain configurations. You have to catalog the game as playable (2) if at least one test case lists it as playable)
    • linuxstatusNTSCU, linuxstatusPAL, linuxstatusNTSCJ, linuxstatusPAL-M: game status for Linux platform (see above)
    • macstatusNTSCU, macstatusPAL, macstatusNTSCJ, macstatusPAL-M: game status for Macintosh platform (see above)
