If somebody needs images for the Linux configuration segment, I had uploaded a bunch of them here: http://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/User:DoctorMuerte/test2

I'd recheck and correct your Linux guide after appending it here but I'm afraid to make technical mistakes because I know next to nothing about Linux and have no testbed to verify what's written. I think I'll stay away from it until someone will finish it and then I'll check the result for grammar and such. Sorry. --Ngng (talk) 17:58, 4 April 2015 (BST)
Don't worry. It's the same thing I did for the Windows guide at test/3, so as soon as the Setting_up_Windows_version guide is finished I, might copy/paste it on test/2, changing whatever is needed to fit the Linux environment, probably adding what's on this same page, and then highlight or list the parts I've written, so someone else can double check its grammar. I will let you guys know if I do it.

Hm, okay, the Windows guide is pretty much finished now (I couldn't find the volunteers to correct it, too much text to cover :) ). I guess I'll make another run on it (I know there are still bad wording in there) in the months to come but right now I'm a bit tired of it. You can go ahead and combine the two guides. I thought though that Linux text needed a bit more on technical side (esp. explanation on video drivers (propriety/open), sound drivers, etc., i.e. all those things we take for granted under Windows). If the guide will lack the environment part the newbies may not be able to use it because of some driver issue or permissions or whatnot. It's just a thought though. --Ngng (talk) 18:39, 5 April 2015 (BST)
Probably I'll try it whenever I have time, but I'm not sure when it's gonna be possible. I'll let you know if I'm able to make a good and newbie-friendly "conversion".
