Huh, so the example patch is basically just a memory hack? Nothing wrong with that but... I figure since memhack programs already exist why bother screwing around with the emulator. I'm running Win7 x64 and have successfully used ArtMoney for cheating. It's just the same process like using it on any other PC game, and similar to the process listed here except for the saving patch stuff. I realize creating a patch will be more useful (can use it in later sessions) whereas with a memhack you'd need to do it every single time. Thing is, I usually just cheat stuff like money - save the game and hey presto no need to cheat again later, the money's still there.

Infinite lives is lame but hey whatever floats your boat. Let's not argue about that, I'm just saying memhacks also work on PCSX2. Point your program at the main window btw, not the display window. You can pause (suspend) or not while filtering, it still works. And ffs don't reload a savestate in between filtering for values or it'll screw up your search, but this should be pretty obvious. It was an article about the built-in cheat support. You can extend it to show how it can be done with a third party program (or should I better say external program). Any help is welcome you know when the wiki is not spoiled by the attention! --Ngng 11:25, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
