Known Issues

Wrong internal FPS detection

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: Wrong internal FPS reading.
  • Workaround: Manually turn on "Force Blit Internal FPS Detection" Game Fix for Spider-Man 3.

Distorted\Choppy audio

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: The game's sounds are not well emulated, and many sounds are skipped\choppy, including dialogue and music, interrupted after a midsecond.
  • Workaround: There is no known workaround.

Fixed Issues

Endless loading screen after completing the first mission

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Major
  • Description: When you complete the first mission, you'll eventually get to a loading screen. The game still seems to be responsive, but instead of advancing, it's stuck permanently loading.
  • Workaround: This has been fixed in the latest developer builds. (Enable Automatic Gamefixes). For older versions you will require an external pnach file found here

Game can freeze randomly with audio issues

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Major
  • Description: The game can freeze randomly at some specific checkpoints, with a distorted looping sound playing over. It seems to be related to the game trying to play multiple sounds\tracks at the same time.
  • Workaround: Fixed in build v.1.7.0-dev 940. Go to Config > Memory cards, click on each non grayed out memory card followed by a click on "Eject". Then reboot the game. It should now start the level, but the next checkpoint will cause the game to freeze unless certain settings are changed.
