Also, Intel CPUs or AMD Phenom CPUs work better with PCSX2 than AMD FX ones. My personal recommendation is that the CPU have a clock rate of at least 3.5 GHz (Intel and AMD Phenom) and 4 GHz (AMD FX), as long as there are at least 2 cores for either processor. These clock rates, coupled with VU Cycle stealing will seriously help the game achieve 30 frames-per second or higher.
