Also, Intel CPUs work better with PCSX2 than AMD ones. My personal recommendation is that the CPU have a clock rate of at least 3.5 GHz (Intel) or 4 GHz (AMD), as long as there are at least 2 cores for either processor. These clock rates, coupled with VU Cycle stealing will seriously help the game archive 30 frames-per second.
