Mac builds have joined mainline! From 1.7.2666 onwards, they can be found alongside other dev builds. Once 1.8 releases the Mac build will be available alongside other release builds. These builds support macOS Mojave (10.14) onwards and can run on Apple Silicon with Rosetta 2.


Tellowkrinkle has forked the PCSX2 Github in order to make a dedicated MacOS version, found [https://github.com/tellowkrinkle/pcsx2 here].
 
This version may perform differently to the official Windows and Linux builds. This build does run natively on Apple Silicon, and has a dedicated Metal renderer. This build works on both MacOS Big Sur and MacOS Monterey.

This is a stub article for tips on how to set up PCSX2 on Mac OS. Please expand it.
