Game description: Resident Evil Outbreak, known as Biohazard Outbreak (バイオハザード アウトブレイク Baiohazādo Autobureiku) in Japan, is a survival horror video game with online playability for the PlayStation 2 initially released in 2003. It was developed by Capcom Production Studio 1. This game was the first in the Resident Evil series and the first survival horror game to feature cooperative gameplay and online multiplayer support, although online support was not available for the PAL versions of the game.

Test configuration on Windows:

PCSX2 version: 1.0.0 r5371
Graphics by GSdx: r5365
Sound by SPU2-X: r5317
Pad plugin is LilyPad: r5258
DVD plugin is cdvdGigaherz: r4488
BIOS version: US 01.70(25/03/2003)

Comments: I played this game from a DVD and had a near constant 60 FPS and only dropping to around 55 during loading. I had all the normal hacks enabled but I use those with every game so I doubt you even need hacks. Also I was using DX10 Hardware, MSAA 4X, vsync and dynamic vsync. The game would've ran even smoother if I had copied it to my hard drive. No known glitches that I'm aware of although I didn't play to the second level to find out because I suck at the game. Hack comments: INTC Spin Detection, Wait Loop Detection, Fast CDVD, mVU Flag Hack, MTVU

Test configuration on Linux:

PCSX2 version: untested
Graphics by ZZogl: untested
Sound by SPU2-X: untested

PC specs used to test the game:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 630 2.80 GHZ
GPU: Geforce 9800GT 1GB

Comments: Chances are you can run the game with a dual core as long as your graphics card is decent enough. I doubt this game requires anything too fancy.
