Hey Ngng, I was wondering that if the text in the developer field of a game linked to a redirect, could the template possibly be changed so that the game falls under the page that it was redirected to? Or perhaps, if a different link is provided along with the text (kind of like "Rockstar Games | Rockstar North" with double brackets instead of quotes - if put into the developer field, it'll still have the game placed under "Rockstar North" instead of "Rockstar Games"), that it could automatically place the game under the developer linked to? This would probably be better than having a page for "Rockstar North", "Rockstar Leeds", "Rockstar Vancouver", etc. and whatever other divisions they have and just putting their information in sections under "Rockstar Games", along with having their games hanging off that page. This would also be a good feature if there are different games that were developed under different people but effectively the same company. :To get the actual page from the redirect and to put it in the text inside of template I guess is... impossible (to my knowledge anyway). I've already gone further with those developers than I previously thought is possible so for this issue I can come with another cheaper solution. Why not leave them as Rockstar North, Rockstar Vancouver, etc. but redirect from their developers' pages instead into Rockstar Games page? On the other hand we can just ignore these divisions altogether and set each game to Rockstar Games. The other solution can be to manually add Rockstar Games category to the page so it will be listed there along with Rockstar North, etc.
:I think I could do something to this pipe symbol when parsing the template but it's already grown quite big and every additional feature does cost in CPU load on the server side. We can ignore this fact or go some other way.
:Oh, btw, about this image... It wasn't my fault, it was on it's wikipedia page. Ah, ok, my fault... --[[User:Ngng|Ngng]] 06:37, 31 August 2011 (BST)
