Game description: The game is based around tuning cars for street races, resuming the Need for Speed: Underground storyline. Need for Speed: Underground 2 provides several new features, such as a broader customization, new methods of selecting races, the "explore" mode (just driving around freely, like the Midnight Club series, in a large city known as "Bayview").
Underground 2 also introduces several SUVs, which could be customized as extensively as other Underground 2 vehicles and used to race against other SUV racers.

||Patches not required now. You will need to use skip draw = 1 to make it playable in gsdx HW mode. Some effects seems to be missing/messed up but doesn't effect gameplay.|
||Europe v02.00(14/06/2004), Recommended + MTVU, Automatic Game Fixes, You need set skipdraw to 1, otherwise you'll get 5-10 FPS in-game. Enabling 8-bit textures increases speed by 5 FPS. With it and recommended speedhacks I get 40-50 FPS in-game. The only way to get constant full speed is to crank up VU Cycle Stealing to the max but this will cause slight sound crackling. Some special effects appear incorrectly.|

- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: Motion blur in races appears exaggerated.
