Game description: NBA Live 2002 is the full on-court NBA experience. Hear what the players are talking about and see what's going on from their eyes. Get inside for more lay-ups and dunks along with more control in the low post. Facial animation and lip synching are heavily focused during transition sequences and auto replays. See Allen Iverson with his tattoos and corn rows arguing a referee's call or yelling as he throws down a big time dunk and see his reaction as he celebrates afterwards. See--and play--NBA Live 2002!

On Software-mode: minor issue, and the speed is almost as fast as on hardware-rendering (with 4 threads). Settings: EE/IOP / VUI @ defaults. Speedhacks: EE=0 & VU=2, INTC, Idle loop & mVU ON. (MTVU hangs the game.) Graphics: Custom resolution: 1920x1080 (Speed is the same as with "Native", but white lines appear on loading screens.), BF=Forced, AF=2x, CRC=Full, HW-hacks: OFF, Logarithmic Z=ON, AC=OFF. Titus03

Speedhacks/Settings

  • EE Cyclerate: Noticeable slowdown, not recommended.
  • INTC Sync Hack: Small speedup, no issues.
  • Idle Loop Fast Forward: Small speedup, no issues.
  • VU Cycle Stealing: Noticeable speedup, but have issues if set higher than 2.
  • mVU: Small speedup, no issues.
  • MTVU: Will hang the game.
  • Recommended to disable Alpha Correction in GSdx. (Makes black surface flickering worse.)
