Game description: A multi-platform updated version of the original MGS2 first released for the Xbox, the game contains the main Sons of Liberty game with some subtle alterations and additional content, such as more then 300 new virtual reality training missions and 200 "Alternative Missions" set in areas taken from the main game.

Comments:

  • PAL last tested with PCSX2 0.9.4 not working due to being a DVD9 game, could be working with 0.9.8 the same as NTSC-U version but can't confirm it.

Comments: Running near full speed. Requires a powerful PC.

Known Issues:

Camera Pictures Mission

Taking usually right pictures in the tanker part fails.

  • Solution: Use superVU0 as VU Recompiler.
  • Fixed with microVU0 too since r4657.

Dragging corpses Fall Sometimes

The enemy bodies sometimes fall before you release them.

  • Solution: Use superVU0 as VU Recompiler.
  • Fixed with microVU0 too since r4657.

Twitching on Gun Aiming

Sometimes aiming guns just make the arm twitch.

  • Solution: Use superVU0 as VU Recompiler.
  • Fixed with microVU0 too since r4657.

Half-Transparent Character in Some Rooms

  • Solution: Use microVU as VU recompiler.
