Game description: Maximo vs. Army of Zin (Japanese: 魔界英雄記 マキシモ ~マシンモンスターの野望 Hepburn: Makai Eiyūki Makishimo: Mashin Monsutā no Yabō) is an action-adventure game developed and published by Capcom in 2003 for the PlayStation 2 video game console. This title is a sequel to Maximo: Ghosts to Glory. It is part of the Ghosts'n Goblins franchise.

Test configuration on Windows:

PCSX2 version: 0.9.9 r5326
Graphics by GSDX: DX10 r5336
Sound by SPU2-X: r5317
Pad plugin is Lilypad: MotioninJoy r5112
BIOS version: USA v2.20

Comments: Shadows are bugged in hardware mode. Use software mode. If running in software mode, allow as many extra rendering threads as you can afford. Tested on i7-920 @3.9ghz / GTX260 in software mode with GSDX10 extra rendering threads set to 3. Achieves 60fps with minor slowdowns. Hack comments: INTC Spin Detection, Enable Wait Loop Detection, mVU Flag Hack, MTVU

Test configuration on Linux:

PCSX2 version: untested
Graphics by ZZogl: untested
Sound by SPU2-X: untested

PC specs used to test the game:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 540m GT

Comments: Some shadows bugs, can be fixed switching to software mode, but at cost of FPS.
