(Try Nachbrenner's patch, it may help (even being some years old already). DESTRUIDOR may have been mistaken (it's possible), but he shouldn't be damned for that, just scolded a little. ;-))
(That patch is enabled by default, assuming it's really the NTSC-U version being tested here and as long as the CRC of the game is 36FEEE3A.)
