|gameinfo          = Set in the near future during a period of planetary colonization, Killzone drops you in the middle of a war between the ISA Command and a militaristic separatist faction, the Helghast. As one of four ISA members, your initial objective is to escort a high-ranking official to an evacuation point. You can experience several gameplay modes, including single-player, multiplayer (team-based and competitive), and online play for up to 12 players. Players can equip themselves with an armory of more than 27 different weapons based on modern technology.<br />
Killzone is a first-person shooter, developed by Netherlands-based Guerrilla Games and released on November 2, 2004 in North America. The game features four playable characters and several gameplay modes including single-player, multiplayer and online play for up to 16 people. Killzone allows players to equip themselves with an armory of more than 27 different weapons including 21 first-person weapons, five emplaced weapons, and hand grenades. More than 45 levels, encompassing 11 intricately detailed environments showcase the harsh setting of a war-ridden planet, coupled with a unique graphical style designed to capture the grit and realism of intense military engagements.

|Comments=INTC Spin detection, Wait Loop Detection, Fast CDVD, mVU flag hack, EE Cyclerate 1; GSDX: Alpha Hack, Skipdraw 2. Full screen graphical glitch, edit your inis/GSDX.ini add in allowhacks=1 at the end. Now go to GSDX options and enable Alpha Hack, and set Skipdraw to 2. Don't enable scaling until you reach the main menu, it causes the opening SCEE credits to run at ~15fps. Quad-core HIGHLY recommended.

|Comments=Europe v02.00(14/06/2004), None, Played through the first level of the campaign, and a few rounds on various maps in the "Battlefields" mode., Semi-transparent white and grey vertical bars covering the entire screen (broken bloom effect?) in Direct3D11 (Hardware) mode. Skipdraw = 2 fixes it. Software mode crashes within two minutes of entering gameplay.

|Comments=USA v2.00 -- INTC spin detection on, mVU flag hack on, MTVU on, and skipdraw(renderer) set to '3'. Works fine, other than the occasional minor graphical glitch. Currently playing through the entire campaign, will report if I find anything.

|IssueName=Luger's thermal vision (Incorrect colors)
|IsFixed=0
|IssueLevel=1
|Description=In hardware modes an incorrect color palette is displayed when Luger's thermal vision is activated. (Potentially completely bugged)
|Workaround=Has been fixed in OpenGL as of v1.5.0-dev-669 of April 28th, 2016. Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to "OpenGL Hardware". For older PCSX2 versions: Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to any of the software modes. Non-recommended alternative: In the plugin settings menu click Enable HW Hacks, go to Configure hacks and set skipdraw to '3'. May remove color distortion (from purple to translucent). This setting may make her 'thermal'-vision usable. WARNING: Setting skipdraw to '3' may introduce other graphical errors such as on the character selection menu, and game starting sequence.
