Luger's thermal vision (Lines)

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: Thick black/white vertical lines appearing when Luger's night vision is activated.
  • Workaround: Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to "OpenGL Hardware", or for Direct3D 9 & 11 hardware modes, set CRC Hack Level to "Partial(OpenGL Recommended)". Non-recommended alternative: In the plugin settings menu click Enable HW Hacks, go to Configure hacks and set skipdraw to '3' WARNING: This may introduce other graphical errors such as on the character selection menu, and game starting sequence.

Luger's thermal vision (Incorrect colors)

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: In hardware modes an incorrect color palette is displayed when Luger's thermal vision is activated. (Potentially completely bugged)
  • Workaround: Has been fixed in OpenGL as of v1.5.0-dev-669 of April 28th, 2016. Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to "OpenGL Hardware". For older PCSX2 versions: Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to any of the software modes. Non-recommended alternative: In the plugin settings menu click Enable HW Hacks, go to Configure hacks and set skipdraw to '3'. May remove color distortion (from purple to translucent). This setting may make her 'thermal'-vision usable. WARNING: Setting skipdraw to '3' may introduce other graphical errors such as on the character selection menu, and game starting sequence.

Half-screen issue

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: In hardware modes the bottom half of the screen doesn't render effects properly, sometimes obscuring it completely.
  • Workaround: Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to any of the software modes. Or in the plugin settings menu click Enable HW Hacks, go to Configure hacks and set skipdraw to '2'.

Game stutters. Error "pcsx2 microVU1: Program cache limit reached."

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: Depending on the player's emulation settings, players may experience slight split second pauses within gameplay. This may occur multiple times throughout the playthrough. An error code within the PCSX2 console is usually presented: "pcsx2 microVU1: Program cache limit reached." Crashes may be accompanied with these errors/freezes. The same problem in 007: NightFire.
  • Workaround: No known workaround.

Mounted turret's flickering textures

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Textures on the mounted turret may flicker.
  • Workaround: In progress.

Fixed Issues

Black/white vertical lines

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: In Direct3D hardware modes thick black/white vertical lines appearing during standard gameplay.
  • Workaround: Fixed in emulator version 1.7.0. For older versions: Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to "OpenGL Hardware", or for Direct3D 9 & 11 hardware modes, set CRC Hack Level to "Partial(OpenGL Recommended)".
  • Non-recommended alternative: In the plugin settings menu click Enable HW Hacks, go to Configure hacks and set skipdraw to '2'.
