Featuring track and drift racing at real-world locations around the globe, next-gen AI and vehicle customization, Juiced 2: HIN brings street racing to life, allowing players to test their skills at live street racing events against a back-drop of DJs, fashion, models and musicians. New features include addictive drift/ powersliding races and "Driver DNA" that tracks gamers' personal driving traits. Racing developer Juice Games has evolved the game-play in its online racing, giving players the power to create their car, assemble their crew and put it all on the line in intense pink slip and crew races. Known Issues

Choppy intro FMVs

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: The 3 intro FMVs before the START menu are very choppy.
  • Workaround: Can be rectified by setting EE Cycle Rate to at least 180%. This will, however, increase the game's hardware requirements. View the entry below for more details.

  • Type: Note (not an issue)
  • Description: The game natively supports dynamic framerate up to 60 (or 50 for PAL) fps, but is not capable of achieving it by default.

By setting the EE Cycle Rate to 300% and the EE Cycle Skip to Mild, you will be able to run the game nearly always at 60 frames.

Oddly enough, the showroom where you view your car is the heaviest scene, and you will struggle to reach that framerate there (tested on an 8700K with an RTX 2080). The game is 'heavy', and makes thorough use of your hardware, especially with this setup since it works harder to output more frames. The result cannot be denied though, it's notably smoother.

Note: don't linger at the PRESS START menu after the intro FMVs. It will murder your CPU/GPU for no reason at all, with both at 100%.
