|gameinfo          = Vic Vance is a corporal in the U.S Army who had just arrived in Vice City in 1984 and he is now stationed at Fort Baxter. He arrives at the office of his supervisor, Sergeant Jerry Martinez, a corrupt soldier of the Army who is a drug smuggler. He instructs Vic to manage a drug deal. Vic arrives on the buyer's yacht, but they are ambushed by unknown assailants who blow up the boat, leaving only Vic alive.
|gameinfo          = Vice City, 1984. Opportunity abounds in a city emerging from the swamps, its growth fueled by the violent power struggle in a lucrative drug trade. Construction is everywhere as a shining metropolis rises from foundations of crime and betrayal. As a soldier, Vic Vance has always protected his dysfunctional family, his country, himself. One bad decision later and that job is about to get much harder. Kicked out onto the streets of a city torn between glamour and gluttony, Vic is faced with a stark choice - build an empire or be crushed.

Note that disabling the framelimiter at any point may cause the lighting to start flickering when you enable it again, and this can only be fixed by saving and loading through the memcard. I recommend disabling "Trails" in the game options, and setting Skipdraw to 1x1 in GSdx HW Hacks to remove the "double vision" bug for distant objects.
