Game description: Play as Carl Johnson (CJ) in the state of San Andreas, as you and your gang (Grove Street Families) try to ascend to fame and wealth. Unfortunately, some members of the "families" sell out the gang to corrupt cops, and you must deal with this problem. Game works fine at a good speed, very dark however due to light being removed via CRC patch. I recommend you enable Shadeboost and put the brightness slider to about 85 to achieve the brightness seen in the screenshot above.

Known Issues

Semi-transparent images

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: Reflections and/or semi-transparent images can cover the screen at random.
  • Workaround: Set Skip Draw to 3 under HW Hacks to remove the effect. This causes a couple minor rendering issues but fixes the larger problem. For the PAL version, use Shadeboost to set the Brightness to ~85.
