|Comments=Unless you set the CRC hack level to Partial or Aggressive, most of the screen will be bright green, essentially making the game unplayable. I tried Aggressive initially, but that messed up the shadows, so I changed it to Partial, which was fine. Initially there was noticeable lag when fighting multiple enemies, but enabling MTVU eliminated the lag, and from then on, the game ran at full speed. However, it's clearly quite demanding on my PC (it's normally almost silent and the fans got very loud, and the PC became warm to the touch), so I'd recommend using VU cycle stealing for mid to low-end PCs. Once I'd enabled MTVU, there were no other issues. Fully playable. | |||

|Description= | |Description=From a [https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-God-of-War-SCUS-97399-U--29467?pid=618934#pid618934 this post]: When playing with hardware renderer upscaled you will see vertical lines. There's also green along the nets of the ship at the beginning of the game. This is just a consequence of upscaling. They go away on software renderer. | ||

For older versions Go to Config > Video(GS) > Plugin Settings, make sure the Renderer is set to "OpenGL or Vulkan (Hardware), then click "Enable HW Hacks", go to Configure Hacks and use '''Round Sprite''' or use '''TC Offset''' to correct the effects. Or switch to Software mode by setting Renderer to one of the "(Software)" options. | ||

|IssueLevel=0 | |||
|Description=Multiple black vertical lines span across the screen [https://i.redd.it/xlavu0mp4ae51.png image]. | |||
|Workaround=Go to Config > Video(GS) > Plugin Settings. Enable HW Hacks and in advanced settings set trilinear filtering to trilinear then half pixel offset to special ([https://www.reddit.com/r/PCSX2/comments/i1ib5n/vertical_lines_in_god_of_war1_those_are_my/ credit]. However, this issue may still persist when using progressive scan. And yes did test with widescreen mode and has no line bug. | |||

|IssueLevel=0 | |IssueLevel=0 | ||
|Description= | |Description=When using progressive scan, during FMV scenes, a black rectangle obscures part of the bottom of the image, usually in one of the corners. | ||
|Workaround= | |Workaround=That issue appears to be fixed as of v1.7.3113. For older builds Use interlaced (don't enable progressive scan in the game itself). For the PAL version on older PCSX2 builds (May apply to WxWidgets builds) Go to Graphics settings > Hacks > Turn on Memory Wrapping. | ||
