Game description: Based on the movie of the same name, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is a fast-action third-person shooter for up to four players. As "Major" Motoko Kusanagi, Batou, and Tachikoma, you can engage enemies in both multiplayer combat and single-player missions. In single-player mode, your missions involve hacking into machines and computers, controlling your enemies' minds from a distance, and using a variety of weapons to eliminate your enemies. Complete the Story mode to unlock more playable characters, costumes, and additional weapons.
The games take place in the year 2030, between the stories told in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG. In the year 2030, cybercrime, espionage and terrorism plague a society lost between humanity and technology. As one of the trusted members of the government organization known as Section 9, Major Motoko Kusanagi must uncover the truth behind a mysterious case known only as T.A.R.

At the very beginning of the game there's a door you're supposed to open in order to start the first level of the game, but the door doesn't open if you're using PCSX2. This means you can only play the game for 2 minutes or so under PCSX2. You need a save file from someone who played it on their PS2. Load it in order to advance. After you complete the Tutorial/reach its final stage, the character you're controlling gets stuck in midair, unable to move, and the game remains like this forever. Black bars appear throughout the game if you use GSDX Hardware Mode. Setting resolution to Native doesn't fix the problem.

You need to use Software mode as renderer to avoid missing textboxes in tutorial. Could probably run with far lower specs than this. Lagahan

BIOS: Europe v02.00, US boots, runs and seems to work. there is glitchy audio like most pcsx2, but this doesnt' interfere with the game. What does interfere with the game is the fact that after you "open" the gate and get teh confirmation dialog that the "gate is opening" no matter what you do the gate does infact not open. Therefore the US version of this game is not playable past this point in the first mission. Everything else about the game (graphics, speed, FMVs etc) seems to be fine. Goshinki
