Genre: Action, Adventure
Game description: December 24th. St. Alberta's skyline is dominated by the about-to-be-completed Clayton Tower, a 30-floor skyscraper that contains a hotel, an office space, stores and a movie theater. But at 7:32 PM, disaster strikes when an explosion happens, followed by an uncontrollable fire that threatens to spread across the whole building. You'll be able to play as one of three playable characters: Douglas, the captain of Saint Alberta Fire Department's Unit 01, Max, an SAPD officer that happened to be there, and Scott, the building's architect, who was inside the building during the inauguration party. The goal is to control the fire and rescue all the people who were caught inside the building before it falls down.

Runs at full speed at native resolution in software mode with just some minor slowdowns (sometimes caused by the game while reporting a 60 FPS speed, some others for real). Known Issues

Horizontal and diagonal distortions on the UI elements

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Affected Game Versions: All
  • Description: The tower floors inside the Tower Map screen will display themselves moved to the left, many UI elements display diagonal distortions.
  • Workaround: This happens, surprisingly, only in Software Mode. Use hardware mode.

Game Comments

  • This game is unpolished, and it has some issues that might look like emulator problems, but they are not. The most notable ones are the following:
    • Softlock at a black screen right after the ending cutscene of Douglas' Chapter 4. This can be avoided by pressing the X Button to skip the cutscene.
    • Douglas, Max and Scott's models suddenly losing their bilinear filtering during Chapter 9.
    • Transparent windows hiding the flames (at the monorrail).
    • Slowdowns that actually report full speed on the FPS counter.
