Game description: EA Sports returns to the boxing ring with Fight Night 2004. Built to deliver all the drama and pageantry of a heavyweight title bout, Fight Night 2004 features real fighters with authentic moves. With Total Punch Control, the analog sticks become intuitive extensions of your fists, giving you more control over punches, blocks, and dodges. Create your own fighter in Career mode, customize your ring entrance, and then work your way from amateur to undisputed champion.
Its features are a career mode, in-depth and reasonably realistic fighting and an analog stick-based control scheme dubbed Total Punch Control, which was re-used, with enhancements, in the sequels

Test configurations on Windows:

Environment Configurations Comments Tester
Region OS CPU/GPU Revision Graphics Sound/Pad
NTSC-U Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
  • Intel i7-6700K @ 4.00GHz
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
v1.7.0 (dev-58) GSdx 1.2.0
  • SPU2-X 2.0.0
  • LilyPad 0.12.1
BIOS: USA v02.30, Preset: 2 (Safe), using the game's own widescreen mode. MTVU needs to be turned OFF, otherwise the game will freeze on loading screens. Goes ingame and runs perfectly stable at full speed. Increasing the internal resolution leads to the typical lines in the menu. No upscaling hacks seem to help. I have played a couple of matches and didn't run into any other issues. See my video here. TomBoss
