Game description: Dante, the world's most stylish demon slayer is back to shake the legions of the underworld to their knees in Devil May Cry 2. This time, Dante has a new devilish partner: Lucia, a mysterious and acrobatic heroine. Don't let Dante's handsome face lull you, as he has some moves of his own, including running and jumping on walls, aerial kicking, and the ability to simultaneously shoot in two directions. Unleash your inner demon as you battle hoards of monsters in massive, hellish environments.

100% speed all the time. Software mode has some sprite alignment issues. There is a small quirk where the pause menu background turns green if you open and close the gsdx settings while in HW mode, closing the pause menu and re-opening it fixes it. X/Y texture offset fixes dots in some of the 2D textures like menu text when upscaling. Nyahello

Known Issues

Gaps in enemy healthbars

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Enemy healthbars at the bottom of the screen have a gap in them near the right end.
  • Workaround: Run the game in hardware rendering mode. If upscaling and the issue is present, make sure round sprite is disabled (use texture offsets to fix text instead).

Pixel graphics in Direct3D 11 and OpenGL (Software) rendering

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: If you play this game in software mode, the graphics will become like PlayStation 1, that is, pixel graphics.
  • Workaround: Use Hardware Mode.

Fixed Issues

Flickering textures

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Certain floor texture and the daemon world missions (mission 14 and onward) near the end of the game have some textures flickering in hardware mode.
  • Workaround: Go to Config > Video (GS) > Plugin Settings, and set Renderer to any of the "(Software)" options.
