USA v02.00(14/06/2004), There are 2 instances where the game hangs after an FMV scene. Skipping these will solve the problem. Aside from the one mentioned above, there is a case of the "shaky" screen and a white "after-image". This can be fixed by enabling Interlacing-->Bob tff and HW Hacks-->Half-pixel Offset.

Delay VIF1 stalls. Runs above full speed. IPU's are very buggy and can hang in an instant. Getting past intro screens to the menu and ingame is random. Sometimes it makes it, sometimes it doesn't. Had to use a couple fixes to get past the warning screen.
NTSC-J Windows

55-60 FPS most of the time, just leave the settings to default and enable MTVU (Multi-Threaded microVU1) in speed hack tab. Visit this thread for more info. Jinkazama2k7

  • Type: Minor
  • Description: When upscaling, a portion of the top of the screen (where the HUD resides) doesn't upscale along with the rest of the game, appearing blurry. The same happens with another portion at the bottom of the screen during cutscenes when subtitles appear.
  • Workaround: The issue has been resolved as of the 26th of April in 2022 in build 1.7.2682 and higher. For older instances, refer to the following forum post where you'll find a cheat that will allow you to toggle the HUD with a button combination.
