Game description: Inspired by the film by Warner Bros., and based on the graphic novels by DC Comics and Vertigo Hellblazer, Constantine is an intense horror game that literally takes you to Hell and back. You play as John Constantine, an irreverent mystic detective who must embark on an investigation in a supernatural world that exists just beneath Los Angeles. To survive, you must use an array of powerful incantations and holy artifacts, including the crucifier, holy shotgun, and flamethrower. Your "true sight" ability helps you identify demons and other secrets.
The game stars John Constantine, the main character from the movie Constantine and the comic book series, Hellblazer, as he learns that unholy animals are somehow crossing into the realm of earth without care. It is a movie tie-in license of the Warner Bros. film Constantine, in turn based on the Vertigo / DC Comics comic book series, Hellblazer.

Trivia

  • Original names: CONSTANTINE (SLPM-65972)

Known Issues

Dumpster Bug

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Serious
  • Description: Very early in the game you'll find a dumpster than you must climb to continue the story, but it is not possible with default settings.
  • Workaround: To climb it I found the following setting solved the problem: EE/FPU Advanced Recompile Options set to positive. You must restart the level after changing the settings for this to work from every edge of the dumpster. BUT if you apply this setting without restarting the level then you can climb the dumpster from the right side ONLY.

Draw Distance

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: The draw distance is bugged in both normal world and hell.
  • Workaround: Use software mode.
