Game description: Step into the shadows of Gotham City's dangerous criminal underworld as Batman. Based on the movie of the same name, Batman Begins lets you explore both the origins of the "dark knight" and his transformation into a superhero. As Batman, you must use your strength and an array of high-tech gadgets to fight the evil forces that threaten the city, including Scarecrow, Ra's Al Ghul, and Carmine Falcone.
The game follows the movie's plot very closely, with minor modifications. Throughout the game there are over 20 clips from the film that give context to the story. The game has a unique system involving intimidation. Whereas most superhero games require straightforward fighting, Batman Begins features the utilization of the environment to frighten opponents. Certain gadgets designed to frighten enemies during combat are provided, such as smoke grenades, flash bang grenades, and an 'HF Transponder', which summons bats to gather around and incapacitate enemies with fear.

Trivia

  • Original names: 배트맨 비긴즈 (SLKA-25292)

Known Issues

Various graphical glitches

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: There are various graphical glitches, without skipdraw there are red line stripes vertically across the screen, enabling a single skipdraw fixes this but now leaves a single, small black line which is fixed with a half pixel offset which leaves the top and left side of the screen with a flashing white line (Very thin, hardly noticeable) I have not found a fix for this white line in 1.4.0
  • Workaround: Half pixel offset with skipdraw 1
