Game description: The sequel to Splinter Cell makes its way to the PlayStation 2 and GameCube with a host of exclusive content, including a new jungle mission, alternate pathways in revisited missions, and booby-trap gameplay. Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow once again casts you in the role of Sam Fisher, whose mission is to destroy top secret documentation held in the embassy of militia leader Suhadi Sadono. With Sam's all-new moves and prototype gear, you must infiltrate buildings and spare the hostages.
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow once again casts you in the role of Sam Fisher, whose mission is to destroy top secret documentation held in the embassy of militia leader Suhadi Sadono.
The gameplay of Pandora Tomorrow is largely unchanged from the original Splinter Cell. The game features some moderate graphical improvements, as well as minor gameplay changes such as the fact that health kits are no longer an inventory item, and the addition of a laser sight to Sam's pistol that allows the player to know exactly where the rounds will strike, even when moving around. Also, Sam can now open doors while carrying a body, shoot while hanging upside down, SWAT turn past doorways unnoticed (move from one side of the door to other while covered), and perform a half split jump.

The game can be completed. Runs with fullspeed all the time, not very demanding. Nightvision and Thermal Vision don´t work correctly in hardware mode, sometimes NV does, but only in specific areas, otherwise it´s blurred. It helps in really dark areas though. Mostly the game is not so dark. The TV is never working like it should do, but you need it in four missions, in the first mission (only in the beginning, Grimsdottir says it to you), in the fifth mission (after you met Shetland, listen to two guards), in the seventh mission (directly after the sewerage, the sniper radios it) (I recommend using software mode) and in the airport mission. Unless you played "Pandora Tomorrow" enough times, to know which enemies are not regular employees in the airport, you have to use the software mode in some areas. I recommend not to kill anyone in the first place, because you only must kill the terrorists, no one else.

3X IR. Full speed. In the hardware renderer, thermal vision does not show heat aside from a small area at the top left of the screen and water is not rendered correctly.

Trivia
- Original names: トム・クランシーシリーズ スプリンターセル パンドラトゥモロー (SLPM-65815), 스플린터 셀: 판도라 투머로우 (SLKA-25180)
Known Issues
Thermal view doesn't show heat sources
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: In hardware modes, thermal vision heat sources aren't discernible from the rest of the environment.
- Workaround: Has been fixed in OpenGL as of v1.5.0-dev-669 of April 28th, 2016. Go to Config - Video(GS) - Plugin Settings menu, and set Renderer to "OpenGL Hardware". For older PCSX2 versions set the Renderer to any of the software modes.
Bugged water effects
- Status: Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: The water effects in the game aren't rendered properly when using any of the hardware renderers. Specifically the water looks completely bland and motionless and the effects are only partially visible at certain camera angles and when moving Sam around.
- Workaround: Go to Config -> Video (GS) -> Plugin Settings, and set the renderer to any of the software renderers.
