|Comments=Unless you set the CRC hack level to Partial or Aggressive, most of the screen will be bright green, essentially making the game unplayable. I tried Aggressive initially, but that messed up the shadows, so I changed it to Partial, which was fine. Initially there was noticeable lag when fighting multiple enemies, but enabling MTVU eliminated the lag, and from then on, the game ran at full speed. However, it's clearly quite demanding on my PC (it's normally almost silent and the fans got very loud, and the PC became warm to the touch), so I'd recommend using VU cycle stealing for mid to low-end PCs. Once I'd enabled MTVU, there were no other issues. Fully playable. | |||

|Workaround=Go to Config > Video(GS) > Plugin Settings. Enable HW Hacks and in advanced settings set trilinear filtering to trilinear then half pixel offset to special ([https://www.reddit.com/r/PCSX2/comments/i1ib5n/vertical_lines_in_god_of_war1_those_are_my/ credit]. However, this issue may still persist when using progressive scan and/or widescreen. | |||
