Game description: The classic 1987 arcade shooter gets a complete makeover in R-Type Final. While it does include all-new features, such as the Force System and AI Mode, it still retains some of the classic gameplay that started it all. Use the Force System to power-up your ship and battle against the evil Bydo. Over 100 ships are available for you to choose from and customize. Save your ships on a memory card via AI Mode and battle head-to-head against the computer or your friend's machines.

0.9.8 (stable) | GSdx 0.1.16 (stable) | SPU2-X 1.4.0 | Performs at playable speeds, though it gets pretty close to native speed with most of the tweaks enabled. Frequent slowdown is expected, just like a normal PS2, although faster systems could eliminate this. Audio also sounds as good as it does natively. Only a few minor issues, such as Stage 5 graphic glitches and the HUD not disappearing during cutscenes. | Moshalas |
