|Workaround=This can be fixed in recent PCSX2 versions. Go to Config > Video (GS) > Plugin Settings, and set Renderer to "OpenGL (Hardware)". Game description: As the outlaw player, Kite, you're on a mission of truth. In the virtual world of .hack Part 1: Infection, anything is possible and nothing is as it appears. Fight your way through contaminated levels of cyberspace as you take on and eliminate enemies, and unlock codes that will allow you to gate travel to even more environments. Gather clues about the mysterious .hack from the included Anime DVD in an effort to ultimately discover who or what's behind "The World."
.hack//Infection Part 1 is the prequel to .hack//Mutation Part 2

|
0.9.6 | Default | Default | The game is fully playable when using the right settings: 1,5x; 2,0x or 3,0x Cycle Rate., INTC Sync Hack (experimental), Enable IOP x2 Cycle Sync Rate, Round Mode: Chop/Zero, Clamp Mode: None, Flush to Zero, Denormals are Zero, | Drakoner |

pre-0.9.7 Beta (r1888) | GSdx (r2693) |
|
To get the game to run, it requires using r1888 with microVU 0 and 1 activated. The game can be run at full speed without using speedhacks. Having 2x Cycle Rate, INTC Sync Hack, and IOP Sync Hack does not seem to break the game, but it is highly recommanded that use as few speedhacks as possible. Using it when you experience speed problems. | CKL |

BIOS: USA v02.00,
• The game can be run at full speed without using speedhacks. • Having Cycle Rate (3), INTC Sync Hack, and Wait Idle Loop Hack and mVU flag hack does not seem to break the game. Use them when you experience speed problems., Fine up to 4x native resolution. |
