|Comments= Game runs well without problems. Has graphic glitches on stage 2.0 ( affect gameplay, can't see projectiles clearly, stage not so playable ) and 5.0 ( still playable ). Has slow downs on stage 3.0 at a specific part just like the PS2, but can be solved if PC hardware is stronger. AI versus mode has graphical glitch on ship HP, unable to determine HP in battle. Game description: The classic 1987 arcade shooter gets a complete makeover in R-Type Final. While it does include all-new features, such as the Force System and AI Mode, it still retains some of the classic gameplay that started it all. Use the Force System to power-up your ship and battle against the evil Bydo. Over 100 ships are available for you to choose from and customize. Save your ships on a memory card via AI Mode and battle head-to-head against the computer or your friend's machines.

0.9.8 (stable) | GSdx 0.1.16 (stable) | SPU2-X 1.4.0 | Performs at playable speeds, though it gets pretty close to native speed with most of the tweaks enabled. Frequent slowdown is expected, just like a normal PS2, although faster systems could eliminate this. Audio also sounds as good as it does natively. Only a few minor issues, such as Stage 5 graphic glitches and the HUD not disappearing during cutscenes. | Moshalas |
