In addition to the classic titles, the collection features remixed soundtracks, sketch art and other Mega Man goodies. The plot follows the protagonist Mega Man X and his partner Zero as they battle Sigma and his army of "Maverick" robots. All six games are action platformers in which the player traverses a series of stages and gains the special weapons of defeated bosses.
