BIOS: USA v2.00, HACKS: Hacks: INTC, Wait Idle Loop, mVU Flag Hack, Allow 8-bit Textures (GSdx). Using EE/VU cycle speedhacks increase the speed but reduce the smoothness, not recommended. Reducing clamps cause more issues, not recommended. 60/60FPS using progressive mode even without speedhacks but it is less smooth in this mode. 45-60/60 in normal mode with only recommended hacks. Known Issues

Semi Transparent Character Portraits

  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Character portraits are semi transparent on select screen in Hardware mode.
  • Workaround: Set Blending Accuracy to "High".

Fixed issues

SPS (Spikey Polygon Syndrome)

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Sometimes while playing parts of the character's body look like falling off or going across the screen.
  • Workaround: Set the VU clamping mode to "Extra".

Added to GameDB/GameIndex as automatic gamefix. Update PCSX2 to latest dev build.

Respawn Issues

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Sometimes after a character falls from the arena and respawns it's facing the wrong way or the camera is stuck someplace else.
  • Workaround: Set the VU clamping mode to "Extra".

Added to GameDB/GameIndex as automatic gamefix. Update PCSX2 to latest dev build.

Characters cast no shadows on hardware renderer

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Characters will not cast any shadow in any GSdx hardware renderer
  • Workaround: Update to latest dev build.

Darkness in some stages

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Some stages are darker than normal in GSdx hardware mode.
  • Workaround: Use PCSX2 1.5 or later.

Thin vertical lines

  • Status: Fixed
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: Vertical black lines appear when running the game in any resolution that's higher than native. This issue also occurs in various other Namco titles.
  • Workaround: You can either: Use native resolution or, use 1260x(any) resolution. You can subtract any multiple of 60 from 1260 (eg, 1200, 1140, 1080, etc) as needed for performance, but no horizontal resolution greater than 1260 works. Vertical resolution has no effect on the black bars, so you can set this to any value you desire.
This is now fixed in the more recent developer builds found here. Use the 'Align Sprite' hack found under 'Enable HW Hacks' in GSdx options.
