Game description: Mega Man and his allies, Zero and Axl, team up and head to the moon in a mission to defeat the enemy and save mankind. As any one of these three characters, you must successfully jump, attack and use new weapons to gain access to new areas. Each area contains different challenges that help you build and acquire skills. Fight your way through 12 stages with settings ranging from space stations to lunar colonies and then replay the levels to discover new subquests.
In the aftermath of the terrible war started by Sigma in the previous game the human race has constructed a new line of Reploids to help them expand beyond Earth's shattered remains and colonize the untouched moon. Unfortunately, Sigma has corrupted these Reploids with his sinister DNA and its up to X, Zero and Axl to stop him before it's too late. And so begins Mega Man X8, a PlayStation 2 exclusive that mixes the 3D aspects of X7 and the old-school gameplay of X6.

BIOS: USA 2.20, If you encounter significant slowdown, please add extra rendering threads before adjusting other settings. Most of the time it lags when several enemies are doing things on the screen, as well as dialogue boxes within the stage. Other than that, no other speedhacks should be necessary.
